Grading the States 2005

Ohio receives an overall grade of "B" in state government performance in the Grading the States government performance project. States are graded separately on how they manage their money, people, infrastructure and information. Ohio's grades in these categories are B+, B-, A- and C+, respectively. From another perspective, the Cato Institute, a conservative think-tank, gave Gov. Taft an "F" in their annual fiscal policy report card.
