Ohio History Central online encyclopedia

Only the Ohio Historical Society could create this terrific online encyclopedia in Ohio History Central. It's already a comprehensive resource which will be continually enhanced. There are hundreds of entries on people, events, documents and locations with timelines, maps, and images. Legal references include the constitutional conventions, the Northwest Ordinance, Maxwell's Code, and many judicial biographies.

New history of Ohio law published

The Ohio University Press has recently published a comprehensive reference work in The History of Ohio Law. The collection of essays "describe Ohio's legal institutions, legal procedures, and the substance of Ohio law as it has changed over time."
