Gongwer is 100

New web site for the Ohio Supreme Court

The Ohio Supreme Court has wanted to revise their web site for many years. Finally, the new site was unveiled in early February 2006 (see press release). The new web site is a beauty, easier to navigate, much more content and plenty of images. There's a fresh web address http://www.supremecourtofohio.gov, but the old one http://www.sconet.state.oh.us/ still works. Other recent innovations added to the court's web site include the ability for the public to search the court's docket and attorney registration information (press release). In the near future oral argument transcripts will be searchable. And for the first time, the Ohio Judicial Center also has a web site (see press release).
